Mobile and landline numbers
Only active mobile numbers cost credits. Landlines are free, inactive numbers are dropped, and US and Canadian mobiles carry an ownership check and a connect rate.
Updated
- Mobile. An active mobile line. This is what the Mobile phone field orders, at 20 credits per number.
- Landline or VoIP. An office or desk number. When we find one while looking for a mobile, it is added for free and marked with a chip.
- Inactive numbers are dropped before you see them and never charged.
Numbers are returned in international format, starting with a plus sign and the country code, so they work in any dialer and any CRM. The download keeps the plus sign.
Ownership and connect rate
For mobile numbers in the United States and Canada, Preb adds two signals. You see them as icons next to the number, with the details in the tooltip, and as a breakdown in the Mobile phones card.
- Ownership confirmed: our primary verification confirmed that the number belongs to your contact, with a confidence in percent. A number whose ownership check did not match is marked so you can verify it before you call.
- Connect rate: telecom data on how often the line is active and picked up. Highest lines are the ones to call first, High lines are above average, Medium lines are active but were seen in use less recently.
More than one number
When the enrichment returns several numbers for a person, the table shows the most likely one and a small counter. Hover the counter to see every candidate with its line type.
