I got fewer results than expected

What a normal find rate looks like and what you can do to raise yours.

Updated

No data provider finds everyone. Work emails have the highest find rate, personal emails and mobile numbers are rarer, and rates differ a lot by country, industry and seniority. You never pay for a row where nothing was found.

How to get more

  • Add LinkedIn URLs. They give the best match and avoid mix-ups between people with the same name.
  • Add the company website next to the company name. "Acme" is ambiguous, "acme.com" is not.
  • Check the mapping. A swapped first and last name column lowers the match rate.
  • Order all three fields. A person without a mobile number often still has a personal or work email.
  • Try again later. Data changes. People you could not reach this month may be found in a few weeks, and the attempt is free if nothing is found.

Read the status column

Not found means we tried and had nothing. Skipped means the row never went out and names the reason. See Contact statuses and skip reasons.

Check the levels, not just the count

Hover the Work emails card for the deliverability breakdown. A list with many catch-all addresses is not a failed list: those addresses are usually right, they just could not be confirmed by the receiving server. See Valid, Probably valid, Catch-all and Not found.
