Many rows are missing required fields
Why the mapping step marks rows as not enrichable, and the quickest ways to fix the file.
Updated
A row can be enriched when it has a LinkedIn URL, or a name together with a company or a company website. Rows without that are kept in the list, marked Missing name or company, and never charged.
Common causes and fixes
- The name is in one column but you mapped First name and Last name. Map the column to Full name instead.
- The company column was not recognised. Check the mapping dropdowns. A column called "Employer" or "Current company" needs to be mapped to Company by hand.
- Only an email address is there. Switch on Identify email-only rows on the Configure step.
- The header switch is wrong. If your first row is data, switch off First row contains headers.
- Empty cells. Some rows in your export simply have no company. Add it, or add the LinkedIn URL, and upload again.
The mapping step offers a link next to rows missing required fields that shows exactly which rows are affected.
