Bring your team into a workspace by inviting them by email. Each person who joins takes a seat, and seats are what your plan is billed on. This page covers sending invites and how seats are counted.

Sending invites

Owners and Admins can invite teammates from the members list.

Open Teams

Click Teams in the sidebar.

Click Invite member

The dialog shows how many seats are in use, so you know if there's room.

Enter their email and role

Type the email address and pick a role — Member (can be assigned to event types) or Admin (can also manage members and event types).

Send invite

Click Send invite. Preb emails them a link to join.

The invite email contains a link that expires in 7 days. You can invite people as Member or Admin — you can't invite someone straight in as an Owner. (Hand out the Owner role later from the members list; see Members & roles.)

Seats explained

A seat is a spot on your team, and your plan is priced per seat. Seats follow your team automatically — there is nothing to buy:

Every member who has accepted an invite is one seat. The Owner is the first.

  • Accepting an invite adds a seat. On a paid plan it is charged right away, prorated for the rest of your billing period; during your free trial seats are free until the trial ends.
  • Removing a member drops the seat from your next invoice (the current period is not refunded).
  • Pending and expired invites do not cost anything — a seat only starts when someone joins.

The invite dialog tells you exactly what the next accepted invite costs, and Settings → Billing shows your member count and next invoice. Workspaces cap at 100 seats; contact us if you need more.

Invite freely — you pay for the people who actually join, prorated, and your bill follows the team without any extra step.

Pending invites

Invites that haven't been accepted yet appear in a Pending invites section below your members list. Each row shows the email, the role they were invited as, and when the invite expires — with a Pending or Expired badge.

Owners and Admins get two buttons on each pending invite:

  • Resend — sends a fresh link with a new 7-day window. The old link stops working. This works on expired invites too, as long as a seat is free.
  • Revoke — cancels the invite. The link stops working and the seat it was holding frees up immediately. You can re-invite the same address at any time.

Re-inviting someone

Inviting an address that already has a pending or expired invite simply replaces the old one — you never get stuck because of a stale invitation.
