Workspaces explained
How workspaces are created
Preb is set up personally: after your call with Preb you receive a welcome email with a link that creates your account and your first workspace. Additional workspaces are requested from your Preb contact and delivered the same way — there is no self-service checkout.
A workspace is your home base in Preb — it holds your booking pages, bookings, contacts, pipeline, and team. This page explains what lives inside a workspace, how to move between them, and how to spin up a new one.
What is a workspace
Everything you do in Preb happens inside a workspace. One workspace owns:
- Your event types and their public booking pages
- Every booking that comes in
- Your contacts and pipeline (deals, stages, call outcomes)
- Your team — the people you've invited and the roles they hold
- Your insights, integrations, and settings
Each workspace has its own public booking link built from a short, unique name (its "slug") — for example app.preb.co/acme. That link is how prospects reach your booking pages.
You can run a workspace solo or fill it with a team. There's no separate "personal" versus "team" mode — a one-person workspace is just a workspace with a single member. Invite someone and it becomes a team without anything changing underneath.
One workspace, one subscription
Billing is per workspace. Each workspace carries its own plan and seats, so if you run more than one, each is billed separately. See Billing & subscription.
Switching workspaces
If you belong to more than one workspace, you switch between them from the workspace switcher at the top of the left sidebar — it shows the current workspace's logo and name with a small up/down arrow.
Open the switcher
Pick a workspace
Preb keeps you on the same screen across the switch where it can — if you're looking at Bookings in one workspace and switch, you land on Bookings in the other. The list always shows your default workspace first, then the rest in alphabetical order.
Workspace vs account
It helps to keep two ideas separate:
- Your account is you — one personal login, shared across every workspace you belong to. Your name, username, profile photo, sign-in email, and connected calendars all live on your account. Change them once and they apply everywhere. See Your account & profile.
- A workspace is a shared space — its booking pages, contacts, team, and settings belong to the workspace, not to you personally. Other members see the same workspace data you do.
One account can belong to many workspaces, and each workspace can have many accounts in it as members.
Creating a new workspace
You can create additional workspaces at any time — for example, to keep two brands or two teams completely separate.

Heads up
Each new workspace is billed separately, so creating one may take you through checkout to start its own trial or subscription before it opens.
