Smart Views & filters

Sales

Every Global Data table can be filtered, re-columned, and sorted — and the exact setup you build can be saved as a Smart View that's one click away from then on. Views are how a team agrees on what "this week's follow-ups" or "high-ticket won deals" actually means.

The filter panel

Click Filters on any tab to open the advanced filter panel. You build a list of conditions, each one a field + an operator + a value:

  • The operators match the field. A text field offers contains and is; a date field offers before, after, and between; a select field lets you tick the options to include; a number field compares. You'll never be asked to type a date into a text box.
  • Every column is filterable — the built-in fields, your custom fields, and even answers your leads gave on booking forms.
  • And / or logic. By default all conditions must match ("and"). Switch the group to "or" to match any of them, and add a nested group when you need to mix the two — for example: stage is Working and (setter is Maria or setter is empty).

Click Apply and the table narrows immediately. Conditions you left half-finished are simply ignored. The filter count on the button shows how many conditions are active.

Quick filters — the status rail on the left, and the search and date boxes in the top bar — work on top of the advanced panel. The table always shows rows that match everything at once.

Columns

The Columns menu controls what the table shows:

  • Show or hide any column with its checkbox — the counter on the button tells you how many are visible.
  • Reorder with the up/down arrows.
  • Highlight a column with a colour: click the swatch next to its name and pick from the palette. The whole column gets a soft tint — handy for making revenue or an important custom field jump out.
  • Search the list when a workspace has many custom fields.
  • Reset to default puts everything back, colours included.

The contact's name and email are pinned as the first column and always visible. Column headers with arrows are sortable — click to toggle the direction.

Saving a Smart View

When the table shows exactly what you want — filters, columns, colours, and sort — click Save view:

Name it

Something the team will recognise: "Hot leads this week", "No setter assigned".

Choose who sees it

Private views are yours alone. Public views appear for the whole workspace — creating those is limited to admins and owners.

Pick a folder (optional)

Views can be organised into folders in the left rail.

The view appears in the left rail of that tab. Clicking it applies everything in one go — and each tab keeps its own views, so your Contacts views never clutter the Deals rail.

Working with views

  • Apply a view by clicking it in the rail; click again or hit "All" to go back to the unfiltered table.
  • Update a view after tweaking filters or columns: Save view → Update current view. Your changes to a view are otherwise temporary — leaving the view discards them.
  • Rename, move, or delete a view from its menu in the rail.
  • Change visibility — admins can flip a view between private and public from the same menu.

You can edit your own private views; public views are managed by admins and owners.

Views drive exports too

The CSV export always downloads what the table currently shows — so a Smart View doubles as a saved export recipe. Apply the view, click Export, done.
