Meeting locations
SalesThe location decides where a meeting actually takes place — and Preb handles the details so you don't have to. Set it on the Event Details screen of the event-type editor, under Location.
Available location types
Preb offers eight location types, grouped in the picker by category — Conferencing, In person, Other, and Phone:
| Location | Category | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Google Meet | Conferencing | A Google Meet link is created automatically for each booking. |
| Microsoft Teams | Conferencing | A Teams link is created automatically for each booking. |
| Zoom | Conferencing | A unique Zoom meeting is created automatically for each booking. |
| Zoho Meeting | Conferencing | A unique Zoho meeting is created automatically for each booking. |
| In Person (Organizer Address) | In person | You enter an address or room name. |
| In Person (Attendee Address) | In person | The invitee enters their own address on the booking form — you go to them. |
| Custom Link | Other | You paste any meeting URL (Webex, a personal room, and so on). |
| Phone Call | Phone | The invitee provides their number; you call them. |
Offering more than one location
Click Add location to give bookers a choice. Each location type can be added once, and the first option is the default.
When an event type has a single location, that's simply shown to the invitee. When it has two or more, the invitee picks the one they want from a dropdown on the booking page, right where the location is displayed. Their choice is what gets written into the calendar invite and confirmation for both of you — and it drives any follow-up the location needs (a phone number for Phone Call, an address for In Person (Attendee Address)).
Google Meet
Pick Google Meet and you're done — there's nothing to paste. When someone books, Preb generates a fresh Google Meet link and puts it on the calendar event and confirmation.
Connect Google first
The link is created using the host's connected Google Calendar. For a solo event, connect your Google Calendar under Account → Calendars before using Google Meet. For team events, the link is generated from whichever host the booking is assigned to.
Microsoft Teams
Pick Microsoft Teams and a Teams link is generated automatically for each booking, the same way as Google Meet — using the host's connected Microsoft calendar.
Teams links need a work or school account
Teams join links are only created for Microsoft 365 work or school accounts. Personal accounts (Outlook.com, Hotmail, and similar) will still get the calendar event, but won't receive a Teams link.
Zoom
Pick Zoom and Preb creates a unique Zoom meeting for every booking on the assigned host's connected Zoom account — so the host stays the meeting owner and keeps their own recordings and settings.
Connect Zoom first
Each host connects their own Zoom account from the Integration Hub. If the assigned host hasn't connected Zoom, the booking still goes through, but the invitee sees "link will be provided" instead of a join link. See Zoom for the full setup.
Zoho Meeting
Pick Zoho Meeting and Preb creates a unique Zoho meeting for every booking on the assigned host's connected Zoho account — the same way as Google Meet and Zoom.
Connect Zoho first
Each host connects their own Zoho account from Account → Calendars (the same connection powers Zoho Calendar sync). If the assigned host hasn't connected Zoho, the booking still goes through, but the invitee sees "link will be provided" instead of a join link. See Zoho Meeting for the full setup.
Phone
Pick Phone Call when you'll call the invitee. With this location, the booking form automatically asks for the invitee's phone number and makes it required — so you always have a number to dial. You don't enter anything yourself; the number the invitee provides becomes the meeting's contact point.
In person
There are two in-person options, depending on who names the place:
- In Person (Organizer Address) — you type the address or meeting room name when you set up the event type. That text is shown to every invitee and added to the calendar invite, so they know where to come.
- In Person (Attendee Address) — the invitee enters their own address on the booking form (it's required). Use this when you travel to them. Their address becomes the meeting location on the calendar invite and confirmation.
Custom link & other video tools
Pick Custom Link to use any meeting URL you already have — Webex, a standing personal room, or anything else. Paste the full address and Preb shows it to the invitee and adds it to the invite.
Zoom is built in
For automatic Zoom links, use the Zoom location above instead — Preb creates a fresh meeting for each booking. Reach for Custom Link when you want a fixed personal room or any other tool with a shareable URL.
