Your account & profile

Sales

Your account settings are about you, not any one workspace — your name, photo, username, sign-in email, and connected calendars travel with you across every workspace you belong to. Find them under Account, which has two tabs: Profile and Calendars.

Profile & avatar

The Profile tab is where you set what people see on your public booking page:

  • Full name — your display name.
  • Bio — a short description shown on your booking page.
  • Photo — your avatar. Click Change photo to upload a PNG or JPG up to 2 MB, or Remove photo to take it down. (If you have no photo, your initials show instead.)

Your photo saves as soon as you upload it; name and bio save when you click Save changes.

Username

Your username is your personal handle (shown as @yourname). It's set once when you first sign up and is permanent — it can't be changed afterward.

Username vs booking link

Your username and your workspace's booking link are two different things. The username is your personal handle; the booking link (its short URL) belongs to the workspace. See Workspaces explained.

Email & sign-in

The Profile tab also shows the email you sign in with. How you change it depends on how you sign in:

  • Magic-link sign-in (you log in with a link sent to your email): a Change button sits next to your email. Click it, enter the new address, and Preb sends a confirmation link. Your email only changes after you open that link — nothing changes until you confirm.
  • Sign in with Google: your email is managed by your Google account and shows a Google badge. It can't be changed inside Preb — update it with Google instead.

Time zone & format

Your time zone, time format (12-hour or 24-hour), and week start day are chosen during initial setup. They shape how times appear to you across Preb — your availability, bookings, and emails all follow your time zone and clock format.

Note

These preferences are set when you first get started and aren't editable from the account screens afterward. If you've moved time zones and need them updated, reach out via Contact support.

Note that the person booking with you always picks their own time zone on your booking page, so they see slots in their local time regardless of yours.

Connected calendars

The Calendars tab connects your calendar so Preb can check for conflicts and add bookings automatically. This connection is personal to you and works across all your workspaces.

Connecting — click Connect Google Calendar or Connect Microsoft Calendar and approve access. You can connect several accounts (for example Google and Outlook), and Preb checks all of them for conflicts.

What it's used for — once connected, you choose:

  • Check for conflicts — which calendars Preb reads to hide times you're already busy, so you never get double-booked.
  • Add events to — which single calendar new bookings are added to (or none at all).

Both settings sit right on the Calendars page and save the moment you change them — there's no separate step.

Reconnecting and disconnecting — if an account shows Reconnect needed, click Reconnect on it to restore access. To remove a calendar entirely, click Disconnect on that account. If the disconnected calendar was where new bookings were created, Preb automatically picks another connected calendar so booking creation never goes dark.

Tip

Your calendar drives your availability, so connecting one is one of the first things to do. See Connect your calendar for the full walkthrough.
