Pods (team groups)
SalesAs your team grows, picking the right hosts for an event one person at a time gets tedious — especially when the same group of reps handles the same kind of call. Pods let you save a group of team members under a name (like "AE Team" or "SDR Pod") and then add the whole group as hosts in a single click. This page covers creating pods and using them when you set up an event.
A pod is just a shortcut
A pod is a saved group of people — nothing more. It doesn't change anyone's role, seat, or access, and it doesn't create a new inbox or calendar. It only saves you from ticking the same names over and over.
Who can manage pods
- Owners and Admins create, edit, and delete pods.
- Members can see the pods that exist, but can't change them.
You'll find pods under Teams in the sidebar, in the Pods section above your members list.
Creating a pod
Open Teams
Start a new pod
Name it and pick a colour
Add members
Save
To change a pod later, open the ⋯ menu on its card and choose Edit pod — rename it, recolour it, or add and remove members. Delete pod removes the group.
Build pods around how you actually route calls
Think in terms of the groups you already assign together — "Closers", "SDRs", "German-speaking reps", "Demo team". Those are the pods that will save you the most clicks when you build events.
Using a pod on an event
Pods pay off on the event-type Hosts screen, where you'd otherwise select hosts one by one.
Open the Hosts screen
Expand the Pods section
Select a pod
Fine-tune if needed
Save
The pod checkbox always reflects reality: filled when everyone in the pod is a host, half-filled when only some are, and empty when none are — so you can see at a glance which groups are on the event.
Pods add people — the event remembers people, not the pod
Adding a pod simply pre-selects its members as individual hosts. The event stores the people, not a live link to the pod. That means you're always free to add or drop individuals per event — and it also means that changing a pod later doesn't rewrite events you've already saved. If you add someone to a pod and want them on an existing event, open that event and add them (or re-select the pod).
How pods stay tidy
- When you remove someone from the workspace, they're automatically taken out of every pod — you don't have to clean up.
- Deleting a pod only removes the grouping. The members stay in your workspace, and any events they already host are untouched.
- Pods never affect billing or seats.
Where to go next
- Members & roles — who's on your team and what each role can do.
- Scheduling types — how bookings are shared between the hosts you assign (round-robin vs. collective).
- Conditional routing — send the most promising leads to specific hosts.
