Invite your team
SalesBring colleagues into your workspace so they can host calls, work the pipeline, and pitch in on setup. This page covers roles, sending invites, and how seats work.
Roles at a glance
Every member of a workspace has one of three roles:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control, including billing and seats. Every workspace has at least one owner. |
| Admin | Manage members and event types — almost everything except billing and removing the owner. |
| Member | Take part as a host: they can be assigned to event types and run calls. |
Choosing a role
When you send an invite you choose Admin or Member. Owner isn't an invitable role — there's always at least one owner, and only an existing owner manages billing.
Sending an invite
Invites go out by email with a private link.

Pending & expired invites
Invites you've sent but that haven't been accepted yet show up under Pending invites, each with a status:
- Pending — the invite is live and the link still works.
- Expired — more than 7 days have passed and the original link no longer works.
For each invite you can:
- Resend — sends a fresh link and resets the 7-day clock. This works on both pending and expired invites; the old link stops working.
- Revoke — cancels the invite entirely and frees up its seat.
Seats & billing
Your plan includes a set number of seats. Here's what counts toward them:
- The owner, every accepted member, and every pending invite each take up a seat. (A pending invite holds its seat so it's reserved for that person.)
- Expired invites don't hold a seat.
- Revoking or removing someone frees their seat immediately.
When all your seats are in use and you try to invite someone:
- If you're the owner, you'll see an option to buy a seat so you can keep inviting.
- If you're an admin, you'll be asked to have the workspace owner add seats, since only the owner manages billing.
See Billing & subscription for how seats and your plan fit together.
Accepting an invite
From the recipient's side, joining is quick:

Same email matters
The invite only works for the exact email it was sent to. If your teammate signs in with a different address, ask them to switch accounts or send a new invite to the address they actually use.
