Zoho Meeting

Set Zoho Meeting as the location on an event type and Preb creates a unique Zoho meeting automatically for every booking. The link lands in the confirmation, the calendar invite, and the reminders — nobody has to create a meeting or paste a link by hand.

Each host uses their own Zoho account, so the host is always the real owner of the call with their own recordings and settings. There's no shared company account and no meeting collisions when several hosts are on calls at the same time.

Adding the app

Prerequisites

• A Zoho account with Zoho Meeting enabled. The free plan is enough — if you've never opened Zoho Meeting, visit meeting.zoho.com once while signed in to activate it.
• A Preb account with access to a workspace. Any team member can connect their own Zoho — you don't need to be a workspace admin.

Using the app

Once Zoho is connected, these features work automatically. Each one lists what it does, when it's useful, and what needs to be in place first.

Auto-create a meeting for every booking

• Use case: A guest books a call on a Zoho Meeting event type. Preb creates a unique Zoho meeting on the assigned host's account and puts the join link in the guest's confirmation, the host's calendar event, and the reminder emails — no manual meeting creation.
• Prerequisites: The host has connected Zoho (with Zoho Meeting enabled), and the event type's Location is set to Zoho Meeting.

Reschedules keep the same link

• Use case: A booking is moved to a new time. The calendar event moves and the join link stays the same, so nobody needs a new invite.
• Prerequisites: The booking was originally created with a Zoho meeting (i.e. the host was connected at booking time).

Cancellations remove the meeting

• Use case: A booking is cancelled. Preb removes the calendar event and its Zoho meeting, so nothing is left behind on the host's account.
• Prerequisites: The booking has an associated Zoho meeting.

Reassignment moves the meeting to the new host

• Use case: A booking is reassigned to a different host. Preb removes the old host's meeting and creates a fresh one on the new host's account, so the meeting always belongs to whoever is actually taking the call.
• Prerequisites: The new host has connected their own Zoho account.

Works with any booking calendar

• Use case: Zoho Meeting isn't tied to booking into a Zoho calendar. You can use Zoho Meeting as the location while your bookings land in Google or Outlook — Preb generates the Zoho link and drops it into whichever calendar event it creates.
• Prerequisites: The host has connected Zoho for the meeting link; the booking calendar can be any connected provider.

Team and round-robin events

• Use case: On team or round-robin event types, the meeting is created on whichever host the booking is assigned to. When you set Zoho Meeting as the location, the editor tells you if any host on the roster hasn't connected yet, so you can nudge them before real bookings come in.
• Prerequisites: Each host on the event connects their own Zoho account.

Fallback when a host isn't connected

• Use case: A booking lands on a host who hasn't connected Zoho (or whose connection expired). The booking still goes through and the calendar event is still created; the guest's confirmation shows "Zoho Meeting — link will be provided" and the host gets an email asking them to connect Zoho and send the link.
• Prerequisites: None — this is the automatic safety net. Connecting Zoho fixes it for every future booking.

Removing the app

Zoho Meeting is removed the same way as Zoho Calendar — they share one connection. Go to Calendars and click Disconnect on your Zoho account, or revoke access in Zoho at accounts.zoho.com → Security → Connected Apps.

What removing the app does

• Preb stops creating Zoho meetings for your future bookings. New bookings on Zoho Meeting event types fall back to "link will be provided" until you reconnect.
• Zoho meetings that were already created for upcoming bookings stay on your Zoho account — disconnecting doesn't delete meetings you're already scheduled to host.
